Mission & Core Focus
Together We Move (TWM) is a peer-led initiative supporting Black aspiring clinical psychologists to access the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, the main professional training route into clinical psychology in the UK. Its mission is to dismantle structural barriers that prevent Black applicants from entering doctoral training and progressing into a profession where Black clinical psychologists remain significantly underrepresented.
Initiative Key Achievement
The initiative’s strongest achievement in the last 12 months is its 85.7% interview-to-offer success rate for the 2025 entry cohort, where six out of seven members invited to interview secured places on Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programmes. This compares strongly with the national picture for Black applicants.
