Positive Action Statement

DINN Enterprise is a Community Interest Company, whose goal is to support people to achieve their socioeconomic goals; to create a world in which every person has the skills, tools and resources they need to lead, influence and create the future for themselves and their community.

The majority of our work supports programmes for the Black community. Under the Equality Act 2010 we consider that members of the Black community are likely to suffer a disadvantage due to their race or have needs that are different from persons who do not share their race in respect of socioeconomic goals.

We consider that our work is a proportionate means of enabling or encouraging persons from the Black community to overcome the disadvantages they face by providing access to opportunities for social mobility through poverty alleviation methodologies such as education in financial literacy, entrepreneurship and employability skills.
