The Blackett Lab Family C.I.C. is dedicated to “represent, connect and inspire” Black physicists and researchers across the UK. Its mission is to address the severe underrepresentation of Black individuals in physics by building a supportive network, increasing visibility, and providing tailored opportunities for students, early career researchers, and professionals
Initiative Key Achievement
The Blackett Lab Family has supported over 100 Black students, researchers, and professionals, with recent flagship events empowering 26 undergraduates and 10 PhD/postdocs. Achievements include members progressing to PhDs, postdoctoral fellowships, and receiving prestigious awards
