Priscilla Vivian is Championing Mental Health and Entrepreneurial Wellbeing for Black Founders

Priscilla Vivian
Founder, Vivify Therapy

Priscilla Vivian is a therapist, wellbeing consultant, and the founder of Vivify Therapy, a platform dedicated to the mental health of entrepreneurs, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds. With over a decade of experience in mental health practice and community-based education, Priscilla brings a unique blend of insight, creativity and care to everything she does. Her work bridges the gap between wellness and entrepreneurship, ensuring that Black founders are supported not just in their business journeys, but in their personal wellbeing too.

Through initiatives like the Flourishing Founder programme, Priscilla has developed culturally competent, accessible wellbeing resources tailored to the pressures of entrepreneurship. As a member of the Do it Now Now Community Advisory Board, she draws from her lived experience and clinical expertise to support a more holistic approach to impact and innovation.

Rooted in Community and a Vision for Change

Priscilla’s upbringing on an estate in Brixton shaped her understanding of inequality and inspired her drive to create change. She witnessed the impact of unaddressed trauma and saw how community leaders could become lifelines. Early role models like Olive Morris and Camila Batmanghelidjh planted the seed for her future work, demonstrating that care, advocacy, and action could transform lives.

Her career began in traditional mental health settings, but she quickly realised there was a gap in services for communities like hers. This led her to explore entrepreneurship as a route to expand access to mental health support. Priscilla’s approach is direct and innovative. She designs programmes that meet people where they are, translating psychological tools into practical strategies that founders can use daily.

Her work is increasingly focused on digital health and how technology can remove access barriers for both the Global North and Global South. She believes in building with—not just for—marginalised communities, ensuring that the design of support systems reflects the people they aim to serve.

A DiNN Journey of Growth and Advocacy

Priscilla’s connection with Do it Now Now began in 2021, after discovering a Black and Good event online. The programme gave her the clarity and structure to grow her business, offering a kind of support that other platforms hadn’t provided. From there, she found a community that not only understood her challenges but was also committed to action and equity.

She speaks highly of the collaborative, supportive environment that DiNN fosters and the way the leadership team remains closely connected to the people they serve. As an Advisory Board member, she now helps shape that experience for others—championing mental health and long-term sustainability as integral parts of the entrepreneurial journey.

Designing a New Future for Wellbeing in Business

Priscilla is building a professional legacy that reflects a diverse and dynamic career. She has worked across three continents, lectured at Russell Group universities, and created wellbeing programmes for major global brands. She is passionate about mentoring future therapists and showing that it’s possible to blend clinical rigour with creative freedom.

Her commitment to mental health in business is reshaping how organisations think about leadership and sustainability. She continues to advocate for digital health innovations that are culturally relevant, scalable and designed with empathy.

For Priscilla, true impact is measured by the ability to foster long-term, positive change that outlives the original intervention. She wants Black founders to know that their mental health is not separate from their success—it is foundational to it.

A Final Word

“Start now. Whether you're on day one or year ten, DiNN offers the tools, community and energy to help you move forward. Be honest about where you are and what you need. The support is there, and so are the people who want to see you thrive.”

At Do it Now Now, we empower Black people with the skills, tools, and resources they need to lead, influence, and create the future, for themselves and their communities. Our values are clear: We are ambitious. We believe in community. We build trust.

The Community Advisory Board plays a central role in shaping how we deliver on our mission. Members understand the journey of Black-led charities and social enterprises and use that knowledge to guide our programme design and resource development.

Through quarterly meetings, the Advisory Board co-produces aspects of DiNN’s strategy, research priorities, and storytelling. Members provide valuable feedback, healthy challenge and forward-thinking recommendations, ensuring that our work remains community-led, impact-driven, and aligned with our vision of systemic equity.

Together, we are building stronger foundations for the next generation of Black leaders.
