For Black LGBTQ+ womxn and non-binary people, finding a financial advisor becomes a more complicated task in that the advisor not only needs to be able to provide financial advice but also need to be an ally to the community to help create a space in which we feel comfortable in sharing the type of information needed to gain the most benefits from their services.
