Black in Data creates spaces for networking, mentorship, career development, and industry collaboration, while working with organisations to build more inclusive and equitable data communities. Through events, partnerships, and community initiatives, the organisation supports both aspiring and established professionals across the data industry.
What’s the most exciting part of being a DiNN Award winner for you or your organisation?
What excites me most about being a DiNN Award winner is the opportunity to shine a light on the impact that inclusive data communities can have across the industry. Through Black in Data, we’ve worked to create spaces where Black professionals in data, analytics, and technology feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.
This recognition is not just for one individual, it represents the wider community, the partnerships we’ve built, and the importance of creating more equitable pathways into the data industry. It’s also an opportunity to inspire the next generation and continue driving meaningful change across the sector.
