About
The Catalyst Collective supports Black girls aged 14–18 across the UK through mentoring, community and enrichment opportunities. We connect Black girls with Black women mentors and role models who understand their experiences and can support them to navigate education, careers and identity with confidence.
Alongside year-long mentoring, we run social events, career insight days and workshops that expand access, representation and opportunity. Since launching in 2021, we have matched more than 390 Black girls with Black women mentors.
Our vision is a world where Black girls see themselves represented in every professional space and are equipped with the skills, networks and support to achieve their aspirations.
What’s the most exciting part of being a DiNN One To Watch for you or your organisation?
As a grassroots organisation that is only five years old, it means a great deal to have our work recognised by Do it Now Now. We’re especially excited to become part of a wider ecosystem of Black-led organisations and changemakers who are building meaningful, community-rooted work across the UK.
We also see this as an opportunity to amplify the voices and experiences of the Black girls we work with, reach new mentors and partners, and continue growing our impact in a way that stays grounded in care, representation and community.
If you’re a Black woman interested in mentoring, partnering with us, or supporting our work, we’d love to hear from you.
