Engage. Connect. Support.

We help organisations create social impact in Black communities around the world.

We work with clients to create opportunities for Black people to receive the tools and resources they need to develop their communities through social activism and enterprise.

Begun in 2016, Do it Now Now has become an influential organisation in the Diversity and Inclusion and Entrepreneurship support community in the UK, Europe and across Africa.

We are creating a world in which every Black person can gain the skills, tools and resources they need to build a business, project or careers that improves their lives and the lives of their community.

What we do

We engage in rapid research to identify the core causes of the problem we are seeking to solve by engaging directly with key stakeholders.

The information we gather informs the development of initiatives and projects that we plan and deliver on our own behalf and for our clients.

Projects

We work with organisation like the British Council, ASOS, Google for Startups, Purpose and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to support underserved communities.

Initiatives

We are deeply concerned by the injustices the Black community around the world faces. Our initiatives give us the opportunity to contribute to the global solution.

We do this through a number of projects and initiatives that seek to identify, engage and significantly support individuals as they seek to solve problems they have experienced in their own communities. Our belief is that by supporting underserved individuals we are championing the needs of underserved communities, and bringing more equity to the systems that exist. Geographically we are present in 6 African countries (Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Zambia, Uganda and South Africa) and in the UK.
In Africa we support individuals through entrepreneurship training programs that focus on their adoption of technology for effective growth and scale. Through on-the-ground programs and virtual entrepreneurship training schemes we are able to support African entrepreneurs at scale.
In the UK we support entrepreneurs and social innovators through a mixture of online and offline activities, giving Black entrepreneurs access to experts, tools and resources they would find difficult to access elsewhere. Through our projects and initiatives, we effectively re-purpose existing government, charity and corporation resources for the benefit of underserved communities.

We believe in Open Innovation.

When beginning the development of our own design methodology in 2016, we came to the conclusion that Open Innovation should be at the heart of the work we do. We believe it is necessary and possible for organisations that host power and influence in this current day to engage with stakeholders within primary, secondary and tertiary fields to discuss, design and deliver models that will benefit the increasingly diverse global population.

Open Innovation is an opportunity to open doors and form effective collaborations between grassroots and established players seeking to solve a similar problem. By uniting and facilitating effective collaborations between large corporations, NGOs and government bodies with small and medium sized Black owned businesses, Black activists and Black leaders, we are creating opportunities for lasting positive change to occur on both sides of the aisle.
